About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic Retail Sales Manager to lead the retail division within a high-end salon in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for beauty, strong sales skills, and a talent for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The role focuses on driving retail sales, training staff on product knowledge, and ensuring clients receive expert recommendations tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for maximising retail sales by engaging with clients, recommending suitable beauty products, and ensuring they receive a personalised shopping experience. Managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and implementing sales strategies will be key aspects of your role. You will also lead in-house training sessions for the salon team, keeping them informed about product benefits and helping them confidently upsell to clients. Monitoring sales performance, setting targets, and working towards achieving revenue goals will be central to this role.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail sales, preferably within the beauty, hair, or skincare industry. A strong ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and provide tailored product recommendations is essential. You should be highly self-motivated, sales-driven, and confident in achieving and exceeding targets. Experience in training and mentoring staff on retail products would be a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key, along with a keen eye for merchandising and stock management.
